  • Can I mix pigments?
    Yes, we recommend up to (2) two pigments and (1) modifier to be used in one mixing pot. Many specialized techniques may require more mixing; for any additional mixing suggestions, please contact your distributor. Pigment mixing should be performed in a separate container. Never insert the needle instruments directly into the bottle.   • How long is the shelf life of a pigment?
    An unopened pigment product’s typical shelf life is 3-10 years if kept in the proper storage conditions. Opened pigment product containers should be discarded after 12 months or sooner if the product meets disposal conditions found in the product information or pigment guide. There is an area on the label that technicians can use to mark the opening date to protect the product’s integrity.
  • How should I store my pigments?
    Store your pigment products between the temperatures of 5-25ËšC or 41-77ËšF. Always store pigment containers in a cool, dry place, void of UV ray exposure to maximize shelf life.
  • When should I discard my opened product?
    Opened pigment product containers should be discarded after 12 months or sooner if the product meets disposal conditions. POINT AFTER OPENING (PAO) Since products can degrade over time and can cause products to go bad, this label indicates the shelf-life of a product after opening before it is considered expired and should be thrown away. The number followed by the M stands for the specific number of months the product is good after opening. DATE OPENED AREA This space on the label is to record the Date Opened to accurately track the expiration of the product. BEST BEFORE Known as Best Before, Expiration, or Expiry Date indicates a previously determined date after which a product should no longer be used, either in the operation of law or by exceeding the anticipated perishable shelf life.
